A reader's mecca

I wasn't the only one who thought this was a perfect spot for reading.  And/or napping.  And halfway down the railing, partially obscured in this photo, was a clock.  So I was never late to the afternoon Trivia Contests, the meals, or anything else.

A fair number of readers had Kindles.  That didn't surprise me, given how much less space it takes up compared to, say, a half dozen paperbacks.  What did surprise me was that most of the Kindle readers, like me, were using the "regular" model.  Kindle Fires were a lot rarer.
