The day after Skagway was the second (of two) days spent completely at sea. The ship sails far enough out into the Pacific so as to be in International Waters. Which means they can open the casino.
I must've taken this pic relatively early in the morning. We're talking a cruise here, so "early" means 9:00 - 10:00 AM or so. There's no one at the deck-tables, and the ashtrays haven't been put out yet.
I have a feeling this was one of the days I opted to go to the cafeteria for breakfast, instead of having it delivered to our room. It's all free, of course. But the in-room options are rather limited, while the cafeteria has hundreds of ways to put on a few pounds.
