Your alternative nosh was to get something from the buffet cafeteria and bring it outside to these tables. Lots of people did this, especially for breakfast.
If you sit to the right, you have a fine view of the ocean. Off to the left is the indoor swimming pool, which was very popular due to the outside chill.
The indoor pool is also Terry's Nook, my favorite spot for reading my Kindle.
