Adieu, le cruise!
And so it's back to the ship for one last - and very short - leg of our cruise. It's about 60 miles (don't ask me if they're nautical miles or not) from Victoria to Seattle. Time-wise, it's from midnight until the next morning.
Like everything else, disembarking is efficient and a wonder to behold. You have to be in your "corral" by 8:30 AM or so. They let you off in groups of about 100.
For those of us who will be flying out of Seattle airport later in the day, the cruise line forwards your luggage there and prints your boarding passes. How kewl is that?!
All the passengers were off the ship by 10:00 or so. Then the staff has about 4 hours to clean and prep the ship for the next 3,000 cruise-takers. Whatta life.
