the Capitol at night (with flash)

    Victoria is the capital of British Columbia, and this is its main governmental building.  They light it up every night, and the effect is astounding.

    Of course, trying to get a decent picture of it - without a tripod - is quite the challenge.  This was the best of my "with flash" tries.  Not that the flash has any effect from this distance.  But it does keep the shutter speed from being something like 10 seconds.
